Our Mission
To take the SaPa in Schools program to all government schools, and to all children in underserved communities.
Music is a powerful tool that allows students to develop important 21st century skills like teamwork and communication, and grow into responsible and well-rounded global citizens. It has been proven to cater to children’s social and emotional learning needs, and helps them better absorb academic subjects as well. It is simply too important to be overlooked, and should be made accessible to every child.
Our impact:
Currently, SaPa in Schools works with over 30,000 children from across India. We also work with over 8,000 children from government and NGO schools – entirely free of cost. Since we began our work with schools, we’ve seen a lift in attendance, an improvement in reading and pronunciation abilities, and better confidence, to name a few.
