Our Mission
To offer professional development and employment to women re-entering the workforce, and aspiring musicians looking to pursue their passion while earning a living.
In all of its initiatives, the Subramaniam Foundation is building an ecosystem for music education from the ground up. Our community of educators and administrators are an integral part of this ecosystem, and we are committed to constant training and upskilling.
We pride ourselves on the working flexibility we give our community, because we know that for a mom, choosing between her kids and her career is not a choice. Supporting working moms as they give their best at work and to their families is what makes us stronger.
Additionally, for many young people, music is not viewed as a viable profession, and it is a struggle both for training and survival. Taking a jump into a career of music is not an easy thing, and we are proud to provide both support and training.
Our Impact:
Since the beginning, we have been an organisation which has employed a large number of women re-entering the workforce. Many of our talented Music Educators come from varied professional backgrounds, and with our support have been able to take the plunge into a rewarding and fulfilling careers. We have also partnered with The Light House Project, an initiative by the Pune Municipal Corporation to equip students from underserved communities with employable skills.
